Ídithe are beings who hold power over things that are corrupt.
Creation
Ídithe are "born" into the world due to a wish made by some other creature. This wish gives them purpose and the power to complete this purpose. The stronger the wish, the stronger the Ídithe is.
Aging
At the moment of their creation and throughout their lifespan, the Ídithe have a mature, unaging body. They age as their power wanes, becoming weaker and weaker until they no longer exist.
Looks
They can be in many shapes, Ídithe they tend to lean toward a sinister-looking creature. Each of them can possess 2 forms: true form and lure form. The true form allows them to access the entirety of their power at the cost of being able to lure prey. Those who look upon them in this form with be disgusted or horrified by what they see, so they rarely take it. The lure form is one that looks humanoid with a few distinguishing features that mark them as other. Often these features are horns and a tail, thoygh sometimes wings and claws are present as well. Only the most skilled can hide all of these.
Society
There are two types of Ídithe, Diabhal and Deamhain. Diabhal tend to be higher in the heirarchy as they are smarter and better leaders. Deamhain are stronger and more destructive. When either of these hit the peak of their power, they become an Diabhal Deiridh or Deamhan Deiridh.
Breeds
Each one of the Ídithe are born for a corresponding sin and have powers and personalities that relate to that sin. There are seven categories.
Lust: These Ídithe feed of the worlds strongest passions, no matter the type. They tend to have a preffered feeling to feed on.
Gluttony: Ídithe of this sin love to indulge themselves in various things and feed off others doing so as well.
Greed: The Ídithe of this type adore having something to the point they are obsessed with it.
Sloth: Ídithe of this sin adore their free time. A common trait of this type is the need to do things the most efficient way rather than a surefire way, even if it includes risks.
Wrath: These ones are hot tempered and strong Ídithe, becoming stronger the angrier they are, though they lose in smarts and speed.
Envy: These resent others who have something they want to have. This obsession burn especially strong if they cannot obtain it.
Pride: These get extreme power and deep pleasure from being above others and if they are not, they will find some way to justify why they are better, lest they start into a cycle that causes them to weaken and possibly die.[/i]
