Múnlóir Cruth are beings who can transform between a human form and a humanoid form. Each were is different, but often have characteristics of their animal of choice. More skilled shifters have an animal form as well.
Bitten
These weres are stronger and faster than normal weres, but they can only shift at the full moon or when their lives are in serious danger. When they do shift, they lose all sense of self and become nothing more than a beast. They can grow out of this though, after they have been a were long enough.
Born
Those born as a were have more control on when they can shift but under extreme emotional responses (good or bad) they still can shift without wanting to and won't return back to their human form until they are calm down again. If ehat they shift into tends to be a pack animal, they are stronger on a full moon and for more solitary, a new moon.
Alpha
These Múnlóir Cruth have lived though much and came out the strongest. They are larger, stronger and faster than either type of shifter and can be born from both types. Few of these exist, but all shifters will respect them. Their word is law.
Omegas
Omegas are smaller Múnlóir Cruth who have lived longer but are not nearly as strong or fast as regular wolves, but they have the most control with their forms, being able to partially transform as they see needed. They also come equipped with a venomous bite and their blood is poison to all others, except other omegas.

Aging
Múnlóir Cruth age slower than humans, but do age. Children and teens go at the same speed as humans, but once they hit adulthood they age much slower. Normal Múnlóir Cruth tend to live until around 500 years, though Alphas and Omegas can live upwards of 700 years.
